The thesis of this article is that achieving reconciliation between human beings requires a comprehensive approach in which music and singing can play an important role. The author points the way to how the use of art forms such as music, singing and dance can open the hearts and minds of people to reflect on the past and to initiate a process of reconciliation, so that they can work towards a common future. In addition to the use of music and singing, issues such as forgiveness and (social) justice must also be addressed in their own right. The article includes some biblical and missiological perspectives on reconciliation as well as some historical and contemporary opinions on the role of music and singing, among which their recent role after the Rwandan genocide stands out., Résumé L’auteur de cet article plaide que pour parvenir à la réconciliation entre êtres humains, une approche globale est nécessaire, dans laquelle la musique et le chant peuvent jouer un rôle important. %U https://www.aup-online.com/content/journals/10.5117/EJT2020.2.007.REIM
