Study on the Development of Chinese Animated Films in the New Era | Amsterdam University Press Journals Online
2004

Abstract

With the rapid development of the film industry in recent years, more and more attention has been paid to the film industry. In particular, the formal implementation of "Film Industry Promotion Act" on March 1, 2017 marked that the film industry was officially incorporated into the national economic and social development plan. As China is the second largest film market worldwide, Chinese animated films will face more intense international competition. As the state attaches importance to the cultural industry, the research on the development of Chinese animated films has become more and more important. Starting from the cultural development and aesthetic analysis of Chinese animated films in the new era, this paper explores the existing problems and aesthetic dilemmas of Chinese animated films, and discusses how to build a unique aesthetic system of Chinese animated films in China and serve cultural development.
