The Creativity and Application of Material Language in the Design of Animal Protection Conceptual Books. Taking "Wuyang" as an Example | Amsterdam University Press Journals Online
2004

Abstract

As a comprehensive artistic expression, conceptual books have been committed to various bold attempts and innovations, especially in the use of materials, they continue to actively explore and put forth new ideas. The author of this article takes the public welfare theme of animal protection as the core idea of conceptual books, aiming to promote the public welfare concept of protecting animals and paying attention to environmental pollution. The rich material language can contribute to the visual language that expresses the real conditions of animals. Through the multi-sensory experience brought by the materials, readers empathize and thus have a clearer understanding of the hostile and miserable environment in which animals live, so as to better promote the concept of animal protection.
