Harm Pinkster (ed.), Woordenboek Latijn / Nederlands (Zevende herziene druk) (Amsterdam University Press 2018)

Hoewel het Latijn aan weinig veranderingen onderhevig is - het is immers een dode taal en het aantal vondsten van onbekende teksten is beperkt - zijn de eisen die gebruikers aan een woordenboek Latijn/Nederlands stellen alsook de Nederlandse taal dat wél. Het woordenboek speelt in op deze veranderingen en is daarin bijzonder succesvol gebleken. Net als eerdere drukken is het woordenboek mede gericht op een publiek van niet-professionele classici. Door de combinatie van oude en nieuwe eigenschappen blijft dit woordenboek bij uitstek geschikt voor leerlingen in de laatste klassen van het vwo, studenten en beroepsbeoefenaren die met Latijnse teksten in aanraking komen.
