In general, this article offers a survey of the seventeen volumes of the German edition of Bonhoeffer’s writings, Dietrich Bonhoeffer Werke (Dietrich Bonhoeffer Works). In particular, it focuses on the concept of vita Christiana, Christian life or rather the structure of responsible life, which was crucial in Bonhoeffer’s theology and in his biography as well.
