Samenvatting

De psychologische literatuur heeft al lang oog voor de factoren die leiden tot een burn-out, maar desondanks vallen nog veel werkenden uit vanwege een burn-out. Daarom is dit artikel gericht op re-integratie na langdurige afwezigheid als gevolg van ernstige burn-out. In aansluiting op de bevindingen in het proefschrift van Rooman (2023) worden de valorisatie en praktische implementatie beschreven van de ‘Re-integratiebalans’: een wetenschappelijk gefundeerde en laagdrempelige e-tool waarmee medewerkers die na een burn-out het werk hebben hervat, hun re-integratieproces kunnen monitoren en daarbij zicht krijgen op concrete actiepunten in termen van belemmerende en bevorderende factoren voor de kwaliteit van hun re-integratie. Na het invullen krijgt elke deelnemer een gepersonaliseerd feedbackrapport. Dit creëert bewustwording die een eerste stap kan zijn richting verbetering van het re-integratieproces. De tool is ingebed in de website www.re-integratiebalans.be, die zowel werkenden, werkgevers als jobcoaches handvatten biedt om de slaagkansen van re-integratietrajecten na burn-out te verhogen.
