Abstract

Samenvatting

Dit onderzoek bestudeert satireconsumptie vanuit het perspectief van mediaglobalisering. Een vragenlijstonderzoek is uitgevoerd ( = 1016) naar welke Nederlanders naar Nederlandse en/of Amerikaanse satire kijken. Drie kijkersgroepen kwamen naar voren: satirevermijders, satirenationalisten en satire-omnivoren, met elk eigen humorvoorkeuren, politieke kenmerken en nieuwsconsumptiepatronen. Het meest cruciaal voor het kijkersprofiel van satire-omnivoren blijken humorvoorkeuren te zijn.
