Samenvatting

Wetenschapsnieuws is vaak gebaseerd op universitaire persberichten, waarbij berichten soms letterlijk worden overgenomen (). Dit kan journalistieke diepgang verminderen, maar ook kansen bieden. Expliciete verwijzingen naar het wetenschappelijk proces in persberichten vergroten de kans dat kranten hier aandacht aan besteden. We laten zien hoe voorkomt in wetenschappelijke persberichten en geven praktische richtlijnen om het wetenschappelijk proces helder over te brengen.
